Rashad Robinson is the executive director of ColorOfChange and formerly worked in leadership roles for GLAAD. Robinson is said to be an expert on civil rights issues and how it relates to popular culture. He has appeared on numerous news outlets such as MSNBC, ABC, The New York Times, OWN and NPR. He has been named one of Washington Post’s “The Root 100” for the past four years.
In November 2013, Robinson helped focus attention on the racial disparities, particularly concerning Black women, on NBC’s cultural institution “Saturday Night Live.”
