Hamilton Co. Sheriff-Elect: I'm Ready for the Challenge

The Hamilton County sheriff-elect says he is ready to face a host of challenges when he takes office in January.

Jim Neil laid out his plans for the job he is taking from retired Sheriff Simon Leis, starting with a financial and operational audit.

Neil says he wants to trim the budget without cutting jobs, and create divergent programs to free up jail beds for violent offenders.
